At Cosmetic Plastic Surgery, we believe that you deserve the highest quality of health care possible. That is why we are accredited with the Joint Commission. The Joint Commission is the nation's leading evaluator of patient safety and health care quality in hospitals and office-based surgical facilities. To become awarded the Gold Seal of Approval by the Joint Commission, we underwent a thorough on-site evaluation against nearly 150 standards that promote patient quality of care and safety. This evaluation is a recurring process consisting of peer review to assure that we continually meet their standards. Accreditation is a team effort; every staff member participates in the process.

We do not have to be accredited. Many healthcare organizations are not. The decision to participate in this voluntary process was made because we are committed to provide out patients with the highest quality of care in a safe office environment. Being accredited challenges us to find better ways to serve our patients and it serves as a constant reminder to us that our first responsibility is to see that you get the best care possible. When you see our certificate of accreditation, you know it means that Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Clinic cares enough about you to strive for the highest care possible.

You have the right to report any concerns about safety or quality of care by Cosmetic Plastic Surgery without fear of retaliation. You may report your concerns to The Joint Commision, One Renaisssance Boulevard, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, 1-800-994-6610, www.jointcommision.org.
