Today, over 60% of men and women suffer from spider or varicose veins. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and Laser energy is used to effectively select and destroy unhealthy blood vessels of various sizes and depths. The light penetrates, heats and coagulates the vessels. Over a period of several weeks, the veins are reabsorbed by the body. With advanced IPL and Laser technology, there is no cutting, needles, scarring, bandages, uncomfortable compression hosiery or delayed healing. You can even return to work immediately following your treatment. Sometimes veins need more than one treatment. However, because it can take several weeks for the full effects of the treatment to be seen, we recommend waiting at least 6-8 weeks before making the decision to have an additional treatment.
