Welcome to my blog!
I’m Roxanne, the skincare and laser specialist at Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Center in Savoy, IL. Through this blog, I am excited to share both my passion and the knowledge I have gained working under internationally renowned cosmetic surgeon G.D. Castillo, M.D., FACS.
Though I’ve worked in other healthcare specialties since 1992, I didn’t really feel that I had found my passion until I became a member of Dr. Castillo’s amazing team. Now I realize I didn’t need to find my passion; it found me!
When I am not treating skin rejuvenation patients, I can be found in the clinic with Dr. Castillo, seeing pre- and post-surgical patients or non-surgical patients who are just looking for a little sprucing up with treatments such as BOTOX® or dermal fillers. I am proud to be a part of Dr. Castillo’s dedicated surgical team, as well. I get to wear many hats here, and I love it!
There is nothing more rewarding than watching a patient’s self-confidence grow, grow and grow. Plastic surgery is an expansive field, ranging from actual surgery to non-surgical treatments and skincare products. It doesn’t just change looks; it changes lives!
On occasion “I get by with a little help from my friends,” so be on the lookout for blog posts written by Dr. Castillo. Because of my multifaceted role at Cosmetic Plastic Surgery, I get the inside scoop from all angles. And as you have probably gathered by now, I am always excited to talk about the field I so enjoy.
