When I initially met with Dr. Castillo, I was mainly interested in dermal fillers and BOTOX® Cosmetic to reduce the look of wrinkles around my eyes and forehead. However, during my consultation, Dr. Castillo discussed more permanent options such as eyelid surgery and a forehead lift. Knowing how experienced and well-qualified Dr. Castillo was, I was ready to make my appointment for plastic surgery in Illinois right then and there, but he advised me to go home and think about it. I talked things over with my husband and decided that I wanted to go ahead with the procedure.
Everything went very smoothly the day of my surgery. The entire process had been so thoroughly explained that there were no real surprises. Dr. Castillo and his staff took excellent care of me. Dr. Castillo even called that evening to check in and see how I was feeling.

To say I was thrilled with my results would be an understatement. I absolutely loved how refreshed and natural I looked. I was so happy with the outcome, in fact, that I started considering plastic surgery to get rid of my "extra chins." I made another appointment with Dr. Castillo, and he explained the differences between a long-scar and short-scar face lift in the Champaign area. Since he had already done my forehead lift, Dr. Castillo was familiar with my facial structure and recommended the long-scar option. He also suggested a chin implant since I had a "weak chin." I had complete confidence in Dr. Castillo and went ahead with surgery. Needless to say, he exceeded my expectations once again.
Following my checkup a week later, Dr. Castillo referred me to his skincare specialist, Roxanne, to give me a lesson on how to camouflage the remaining bruising. It was amazing. When I returned to work, I received tons of compliments. The final result was so natural looking that people couldn't quite pinpoint what was different. (They asked me if I had done something with my hair.) I just couldn't stop looking at myself. It was such a big change, but so natural. It improved my confidence in unlimited ways.
I was so impressed with the camouflaging techniques that Roxanne provided after my facelift that I started using the facial products and makeup she recommended. I also tried LATISSE®, a product that grows your natural lashes longer, thicker and darker. I talked to Roxanne about the brown spots and other skin imperfections that were bothering me, and she suggested laser skin resurfacing. Since the recovery time was so quick, I decided to try it.
Roxanne did a great job, and the procedure took only about 30 minutes. My skin was red afterward but it didn't hurt or burn. I was sent home with a skincare kit to help with the healing process and was able to return to work in just 4 days.
My skin and face look better than I ever imagined. I feel like my outside appearance finally matches how I feel on the inside. I am so happy with everything, and I am so lucky to have found Dr. Castillo and Roxanne. Thank you so much! You guys are the best!
